Why marble will never go out of fashion?

  1. Beauty. Nothing can be compared to the look of marble. Many construction materials copy the marble texture, but forgery cannot be better than the original.
  2. Durable and firm. For centuries, marble has proven its durability and working life in many buildings around the world.
  3. Easy to finish. No other stone makes it possible to refine itself, as marble does, it has become a material for finishing many sculptures around the world. Michelangelo carved David out of a single block of marble.
  4. Insulator. Marble stays cool even in direct sunlight and retains heat in winter.
  5. Heat resistance. Marble cannot be broken down at high temperatures that allow one to use it for manufacture of fireplaces and premises with high temperatures.

Marble is one of the oldest materials in construction. The first findings in architecture are dated back to thousands years of Ancient Egyptian and Mesopotamian cultures. Greeks and Romans appreciated strength and beauty of marble, so they used it to build landmarks. It is capable of carrying great weight, ideal for monolithic columns and load carrying structure. Athens Treasury, built in the 6th century BC, was the first, completely built with marble. Marble means wealth both in ancient times, during the Renaissance, and nowadays.
